Team USA To Cut Roster Down To 15 Tomorrow

Team USA Basketball Chairman Jerry Colangelo will announce tomorrow in a teleconference with the media the 15 players that will continue practicing with Team USA in the New York training camp.

As of now, however, But The Game Is On has learned that there are several players that will not be cut tomorrow and are guaranteed a spot on the New York training camp so long as they accept the invitation.

Independent sources close to Team USA brass as well as the players that received calls from Colangelo have told But The Game Is On that Kevin Durant, Chauncey Billups, Lamar Odom, Danny Granger, Stephen Curry, Eric Gordon and Derrick Rose will all be on the 15 player roster in New York, again, as long as they accept the invitations.

Right now, the future looks dim for O.J. Mayo, Gerald Wallace, Jeff Green and JaVale McGee, according to sources, but at least one of them should make the final cuts.

As previously reported by But The Game Is On, Tyreke Evans will likely be cut tomorrow because of the ankle injury he suffered earlier last week that kept him out of the majority of the Las Vegas training camp.
